Own managed arrival to Trier

Your vacation begins with a glass of sparkling wine on Trier's medieval market square. Toast to an eventful Moselle bike tour. Discover the oldest city in Germany.
Trier to Bernkastel-Kues

You leave Trier along the river bank on the Moselle cycle path. The Moselle takes you past meadows, forests, vineyards and through picturesque towns. On the way we invite you to a winegrower's feast. But the story is not neglected either. The Villa Rustica, an ancient estate, the Roman wine ship and the historic wine press in Piesport are on the route to Bernkastel-Kues. This city steeped in history has always retained its character. It is a veritable half-timbered museum.
Bernkastel-Kues to Cochem

A few kilometers down the Moselle, directly at the Hochmosel crossing, you will find the Machern Monastery. Not only the special ambience of the old monastery walls has its charm. It also houses a toy and icon museum, and an excellent beer is brewed here. The further course of the Moselle cycle path takes you to Traben-Trarbach, where the Belle Epoque comes to life. Cycle through the area of the famous "Zeller Schwarze Katz" vineyard past the "Sleeping Beauty" village of Beilstein to Cochem. Small alleys, a long Moselle promenade and for the very sporty, winding hiking trails to the late Gothic Reichsburg await.
Cochem to Koblenz

Today's attractions on the Moselle Cycle Path include the well-preserved Eltz Castle, which has been enthroned high on a rocky spur for centuries. In the afternoon you will reach the city at the Deutsches Eck, where the Moselle and Rhine converge. You take the cable car to the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, before you end the evening with a walk through winding streets and a good drink in the "Weindorf".
