Own managed arrival to Trier

Your vacation begins with a glass of sparkling wine in the middle of the city, which is also known as the Rome of the North. Between historic houses and buildings steeped in history, you will quickly find out that the oldest city in Germany actually has a southern flair.
Trier to Leiwen

The Moselle cycle path awaits you right on the river bank in Trier. Along the Moselle you drive past meadows, forests and vineyards. On the way, stop for a cyclists' feast deluxe in a vinotheque before heading to Leiwen via the Roman Wine Route.
Leiwen to Bernkastel-Kues

In the oldest wine village in Germany you will see a Roman wine ship and in Piesport one of the largest Roman wine presses north of the Alps. After you have followed the Moselle cycle path to medieval Bernkastel-Kues, you should go on a city tour here in the evening. Possibly accompanied by the night watchman, who has many interesting stories to tell.
Bernkastel-Kues to Zell(Mosel)

You continue down the Moselle and reach Machern Monastery. Excellent beer is brewed here. Distillates can also be tasted in a cellar. There is also a toy and icon museum. After visiting the monastery, the cycle stage continues along the Moselle cycle path to the Bad Wildstein thermal spring and the Art Nouveau town of Traben-Trarbach. In the area of the Black Cat you should try the famous drop that comes from this vineyard.
Zell(Mosel) to Cochem

Today's stage takes you to the via ferrata on the Calmont and to the Sleeping Beauty town of Beilstein, before the Moselle cycle path takes you to your overnight stay in Cochem. The image of this city is characterized by small alleys, a colorfully planted Moselle promenade and the late Gothic imperial castle. On some days knightly feasts are offered here.
Cochem to Koblenz

Cycle on the last stage of your bike tour on the Moselle cycle path past the Terrace Moselle, wine bars, old half-timbered buildings and historic castles. In Koblenz, where the Moselle and Rhine flow into one another, the cable car takes you to the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress before you end the evening with a stroll through the alleys of the old town.
