Your first day of cycling starts with a leisurely bike stage. The Moselle Cycle Path leads you past the Schweicher boat harbor via Mehring to the former Roman villa Rustica. In your destination and wine-growing town of Detzem, you can end the evening in a leisurely manner.
Detzem to Lieser
Further down the Moselle, follow the Moselle cycle path through small wine towns and a shady walnut avenue to Lieser. Then relax in a rustic ostrich tavern or take a walk along the Moselle.
Lieser to Traben-Trarbach
The Moselle Cycle Path takes you to Bernkastel-Kues. The medieval city with its fairytale scenery will inspire you. Versatile architecture and a convivial wine tasting at the winemaker awaits you in your overnight accommodation Traben-Trarbach.
Traben-Trarbach to Ediger-Eller
Along the Moselle cycle path you roll past the former cannon railway, continue through the vineyards of the Zeller black cat and finally under a double-decker bridge to the steepest single vineyard in Europe, the Calmont. A tarte flambée with 1 glass of wine awaits you in your overnight stay.
Ediger-Eller to Cochem
Visit fairytale places like Beilstein and Cochem during today's Moselle Cycle Path stage. Take the cable car to the imposing Reichsburg or stroll up the narrow paths.
Cochem to Kattenes
On this Moselle Cycle Path stage, you cycle along the sunny Lower Moselle. Here you should plan a detour to the world-famous Eltz Castle. This is enthroned like a fairytale on a rock spur. Overnight in the wine village of Kattenes.
Kattenes to Koblenz
Along the Terrace Moselle and through rustic half-timbered villages you get to Koblenz on the Moselle Cycle Path. Take a leisurely stroll to the Deutsches Eck or take the cable car up to the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. Up here you can relax and enjoy the view.
