Perl to Palzem
On your first Moselsteig Trail hike you can enjoy wide views of neighboring France and Luxembourg. Admire the numerous wild orchids growing along the way. Surrounded by vineyards and through forests and meadows, you arrive at your stage destination Palzem.
Palzem to Nittel
This hike on the Moselsteig Trail takes you to the Helfanter Dom, a double-towered church. A few short climbs take you through woods and meadows to Nittel. You end the day with a tasting of the fruity Moselle wine at the winemaker.
Nittel to Konz
The hiking trail takes you to the Nitteler Felsen nature reserve, which characterizes the first part of today's Moselsteig Trail hike. The further course takes you along the vineyards and a short stretch of the Saar until you reach Konz. The open-air museum Roscheider Hof is worth seeing.
Konz to Trier
You start in Konz, the summer residence of a Roman emperor, and walk past the Igel column, a 23-meter-high tomb to Trier. On the Markusberg you can take a break and strengthen yourself with a snack. Enjoy a beautiful view of the city from the Marian Column before the Moselsteig Trail takes you to Trier. When you arrive in Trier, you will be welcomed at the main market with a sparkling welcome drink. Let the last holiday evening end comfortably.
Own managed departure from Trier
You leave Trier and take many beautiful impressions home with you from your hike on the Moselsteig Trail. You are welcome to reserve an additional night. The oldest city in Germany has some remarkable UNESCO world cultural heritage sites to offer.
