Conquer the realm of the pawworm, half lion, half lindworm, on these stages of the Moselsteig trail, which require a surefootedness and fitness.
DAY 1: ARRIVAL TO MOSELKERN
You travel to Moselkern and start your hiking holiday on the Moselsteig in the place with the oldest town hall on the Moselle.
DAY 2: MOSELSTEIG STAGE 21 | MOSELKERN TO LÖF | 14 KM | Ø 4 HOURS
The steep path leads up to the little cupboard. Enjoy a fantastic view of the Moselle and Baybach valleys and watch the paragliders take off. The dream path Hatzenporter Laysteig accompanies part of the Moselsteig. For the very sporty, the Dolling via ferrata attracts with rope-secured passages and ladders. Via the Rabenlay with hut and rest area, you continue to walk to Löf.
DAY 3: MOSELSTEIG STAGE 22 | LÖF TO KOBERN-GONDORF | 15 KM | Ø 5 HOURS
A fantastic stage on the Moselsteig with beautiful views is waiting for you. The magnificent Thurant Castle from the age of knights with its twin towers is at the beginning of the hike. Then it goes on demanding on the Sieben-Fußfalls-Kreuzweg on the Bleidenberg. The two panorama points Hitzlay and Mönch-Felix-Hütte offer wonderful views. You reach your destination via steep serpentines. Enjoy the wines of the Moselle during a wine tasting in the evening.
DAY 4: MOSELSTEIG STAGE 23 | KOBERN-GONDORF TO WINNINGEN | 14 KM | Ø 5 HOURS
Through the Mühltal you enter the territory of the pawworm. You follow his footsteps through old vineyards to the Niederburg, Oberburg and the Matthias Chapel. The path of the Moselsteig leads steadily uphill to Blumslay, a lookout point on Kobern-Gondorf and Dieblich. Downhill you reach Winningen, a picturesque place on the Moselle. The founder of the Audi automobile workshop, August Horch, was born here. You can learn about him in the museum. End the day with a tasty dinner.
DAY 5: MOSELSTEIG STAGE 24 | WINNINGEN TO KOBLENZ | 15 KM | Ø 4 HOURS
This last stage of your hiking holiday leads leisurely to Koblenz. Only the beginning of the hike over steep paths up to the Domgartenhütte requires a bit of stamina. The Moselsteig Trail ends in Güls, and at the same time the most beautiful access path begins here, which ends at the Deutsches Eck in Koblenz. Take the cable car up to the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and enjoy the panoramic view from above over the city, the rivers and the surrounding area. The cultural center, a spacious park and the historic fortress await you. Strengthen yourself from your hiking holiday with a refreshing drink and a snack in the beer garden, café or restaurant.
DAY 6: DEPARTURE FROM KOBLENZ
Your active journey is coming to an end. You are welcome to plan additional days in Koblenz to explore the city.

For our multi-stage tours, we recommend arriving at the weekend, as experience has shown that availability is then highest.
Holidays and major events
You should book a trip during the holiday weeks, to wine and street festivals or other major events in good time. There may be a surcharge, minimum nights or changes in the program.
You can arrive earlier or extend your vacation afterwards. You can reserve additional nights as a pre- or post-night stay when booking your trip. Should you wish to stay one more night in a location during your trip, please let us know using the comment field of your booking or give us a call.
Bed tax / guest tax
We would like to point out that some cities levy a culture tax or bed tax. The fees will be collected directly at your accommodation.
With our included luggage transport, your luggage will be transported to your next accommodation until 5 p.m. 1 piece of luggage per person weighing a maximum of 20 kg.
Short-term travel requests
Even short-term travel requests require a binding booking, as otherwise availabilities cannot be queried. If the trip is not possible due to a lack of availability, we will provide you with an alternative offer upon request. If you do not wish this, your booking will be canceled free of charge.
A booking confirmation / invoice is issued to the travel applicant for each booking. If you are traveling as a group, but would like separate invoices, please make separate bookings, stating a group name. Subsequent splitting of processes and invoices is not technically possible.
The down payment is 30% of the travel price plus insurance premium (if travel insurance is also taken out) after receipt of the booking confirmation. The remaining payment is due four weeks before the start of the journey. For bookings less than 6 weeks before the start of the journey, the entire travel price is due immediately.
The travel applicant receives the travel documents and the service vouchers for all travel participants by post approx. 14 days before arrival - provided that the travel price has been paid in full. One set of travel documents is created for each room. This includes: a detailed day-to-day travel description, the hotel list with addresses and check-in information, maps with further tips for visiting and sightseeing, city and local maps, as well as recommendations for places to stop and an emergency contact list. In the case of short-term bookings and a foreign address, we will store the complete travel documents in your first hotel. You will receive the exact travel description including the hotel list in advance by email.
We recommend that you take out travel insurance including travel cancellation, interruption, rebooking fees and luggage insurance. You can find further information on this under the item "Services" "Travel Insurance" on our homepage.

Our overnight partners on the Moselle are selected middle and superior class hotels, guest houses and inns. All rooms have a bath / toilet or shower / toilet.
Overnight stay in the standard category
In the standard category there are rooms in pensions and guest houses with simple furnishings. In Trier and Koblenz there are typical city hotels.
Single room bookings
In many cases, the single rooms booked in your accommodation are double rooms for single use.
The exact hotel list with hotel addresses and directions is included with your travel documents, which you will receive approx. 14 days before arrival. Please understand that we only give out accommodation names on the basis of a firm booking or after a deposit has been received. We are also happy to pass on "customer requests" for catering or equipment to our service partners with your reservation.
