DAY 1: ARRIVAL TO ZELL
Your hiking holiday on the Moselle can begin in Zell, the home of the famous Zeller Schwarze Katz vineyard. Stroll through the lively little old town or along the Moselle promenade and enjoy your first day of vacation.
DAY 2: MOSELSTEIG STAGE 15 | ZELL TO NEEF | 20 KM | Ø 6 HOURS
After breakfast, your first stage begins with a steep climb. At the Collis tower, you will be rewarded with magnificent views over the Moselle valley. Shortly before your overnight stay in Neef, it goes up to the summit cross. A detour to Petersberg, a narrow mountain ridge, takes you to one of the most beautiful places on the Moselle. In Neef you can taste the many variations of the vineyard recipe.
DAY 3: MOSELSTEIG STAGE 16 | NEEF TO EDIGER-ELLER | 11 KM | Ø 4 HOURS
Today's stage is tough, the trail is short but strenuous. The path winds itself over serpentines into the steepest vineyard in Europe, the Bremmer Calmont. If this is not enough for you, you can prove yourself on the Calmont via ferrata.
DAY 4: MOSELSTEIG STAGE 17 | EDIGER-ELLER TO BEILSTEIN | 18 KM | Ø 5.5 HOURS
You walk more comfortably on the Moselsteig past numerous holy houses to the Roman graves with the best preserved vault paintings north of the Alps. In Briedern you can fortify yourself with a hiking feast. The path leads through Briederner Schweiz with its impressive nature to a Carmelite church and reaches Beilstein, the Sleeping Beauty village of the Moselle with Metternich Castle.
DAY 5: DEPARTURE FROM BEILSTEIN
Your hiking holiday on the Moselle ends after breakfast. You are welcome to book an additional day to relax and enjoy before or during the trip. If you have any questions, just contact us.
