DAY 1: ARRIVAL TO TRIER
Your vacation begins with a glass of sparkling wine on Trier's market square. Let yourself be infected by the hustle and bustle on the main market and enjoy the southern flair. Discover the oldest city in Germany and its world cultural heritage.
DAY 2: CYCLING TOUR TRIER TO LEIWEN | 38 KM
Your tour begins on the "historic cycle path" along the river. Pass places where time seems to have stood still. Experience the thrill of speed on the summer toboggan run!
Then it goes on to Leiwen.
DAY 3: CYCLING TOUR LEIWEN TO KRÖV | 46 KM
In this stage the focus is on the history of wine. The winemakers will be happy to tell you about their work when you stop at an ostrich tavern. In Bernkastel-Kues you can find out more about the history of viticulture in the wine museum. Here you can see how the grapes were processed in the past. After the theory, you can take the practical test in the historical cellar. Then it goes on to Kröv.
DAY 4: CYCLING TOUR KRÖV TO BREMM | 37 KM
Do you like Art Nouveau architecture? Then you can be especially happy today. Traben-Trarbach is known as the Art Nouveau town of the Moselle. Go on a discovery tour on foot. If you are interested in Far Eastern cultures, you will also find Europe's largest private Buddha Museum here. We continue through the area of the famous "Schwarze Katz" vineyard. Your destination for the day Bremm on the famous Calmont via ferrata, the steepest vineyard in Europe, is not far.
DAY 5: CYCLING TOUR BREMM TO TREIS-KARDEN | 40 KM
Do you still remember the fairy tales of your childhood? In the village of Beilstein, you think you will meet dwarf noses or the princess. But don't worry, there are nice Moselans who live here and warmly welcome guests. After you have seen this film set, you continue past Moselle loops and pretty wine villages. You should take a break in Cochem. Maybe even visit the old Reichsburg, which characterizes the cityscape. Your destination for the day, Treis-Karden, is not far away.
DAY 6: CYCLING TOUR TREIS-KARDEN TO KOBLENZ | 39 KM
The last stage leads past steep vineyards, small towns with cozy wine bars, half-timbered houses and historic castles. In the afternoon you will reach Koblenz, where the Moselle and Rhine converge at the Deutsches Eck. Take the cable car to the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, before ending the evening with a walk through the old town.
DAY 7: DEPARTURE FROM KOBLENZ
We are sure that you will have many wonderful experiences on our popular "Mosel Pur" tour with you on your journey home. If you would like to get to know more about the Moselle, we recommend additional overnight stays - with our tips for your leisure time or from our hiking program.
