A leisurely active holiday with short cycling stages on the Moselle cycle path awaits you. On the way you have plenty of time to see the sights or to relax.
DAY 1: ARRIVAL TO TRIER
You should arrive in good time so that you have enough time to get to know the attractions of Trier. On the main market, you will be greeted with a Moselle champagne at the winemaker's. Marvel at the 2000-year history of the historic city.
DAY 2: CYCLING TOUR TRIER TO DETZEM | 29 KM
Your first day of cycling starts with a leisurely bike stage. The cycle path leads you past the Schweicher boat harbor via Mehring to the former Roman villa Rustica. In your destination and wine-growing town of Detzem, you can end the evening in a leisurely manner.
DAY 3: CYCLING TOUR DETZEM TO LIESER | 32 KM
Further down the Moselle, follow the Moselle cycle path through small wine towns and a shady walnut avenue to Lieser. Then relax in a rustic ostrich tavern or take a walk along the Moselle.
DAY 4: CYCLING TOUR LIESER TO TRABEN-TRARBACH | 28 KM
Your cycling stage takes you to Bernkastel-Kues. The medieval city with its fairytale scenery will inspire you. Versatile architecture and a convivial wine tasting at the winemaker awaits you in your overnight accommodation Traben-Trarbach.
DAY 5: CYCLING TOUR TRABEN-TRARBACH TO EDIGER-ELLER | 36 KM
You roll through the vineyards of the Zeller "Schwarze Katz" along the former cannon railway and under a double-decker bridge to the steepest single vineyard in Europe, the Calmont. A tarte flambée with 1 glass of wine awaits you in your overnight stay.
DAY 6: CYCLING TOUR EDIGER-ELLER TO COCHEM | 22 KM
Visit fairytale places like Beilstein and Cochem on today's stage. Take the cable car to the imposing Reichsburg or stroll up the narrow paths.
DAY 7: CYCLING TOUR COCHEM TO LÖF | 27 KM
On your way along the sunny Lower Moselle, you should plan a detour to the world-famous Eltz Castle. This is enthroned like a fairytale on a rock spur. Overnight in the wine village of Löf.
DAY 8: CYCLING TOUR LÖF TO KOBLENZ | 26 KM
Along the Terrassenmosel and through rustic half-timbered villages you get to Koblenz. Take a leisurely stroll to the Deutsches Eck or take the cable car up to the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. Up here you can relax and enjoy the view.
DAY 9: DEPARTURE FROM KOBLENZ
Your enjoyable cycling holiday from our relaxation program is coming to an end. You had plenty of time on the way to look at our insider tips and the highlights along the cycle path.

For our multi-stage tours, we recommend arriving at the weekend, as experience has shown that availability is then highest.
Holidays and major events
You should book a trip during the holiday weeks, to wine and street festivals or other major events in good time. There may be a surcharge, minimum nights or changes in the program.
You can arrive earlier or extend your vacation afterwards. You can reserve additional nights as a pre- or post-night stay when booking your trip. Should you wish to stay one more night in a location during your trip, please let us know using the comment field of your booking or give us a call.
Bed tax / guest tax
We would like to point out that some cities levy a culture tax or bed tax. The fees will be collected directly at your accommodation.
With our included luggage transport, your luggage will be transported to your next accommodation until 5 p.m. 1 piece of luggage per person weighing a maximum of 20 kg.
Short-term travel requests
Even short-term travel requests require a binding booking, as otherwise availabilities cannot be queried. If the trip is not possible due to a lack of availability, we will provide you with an alternative offer upon request. If you do not wish this, your booking will be canceled free of charge.
A booking confirmation / invoice is issued to the travel applicant for each booking. If you are traveling as a group, but would like separate invoices, please make separate bookings, stating a group name. Subsequent splitting of processes and invoices is not technically possible.
The down payment is 30% of the travel price plus insurance premium (if travel insurance is also taken out) after receipt of the booking confirmation. The remaining payment is due four weeks before the start of the journey. For bookings less than 6 weeks before the start of the journey, the entire travel price is due immediately.
The travel applicant receives the travel documents and the service vouchers for all travel participants by post approx. 14 days before arrival - provided that the travel price has been paid in full. One set of travel documents is created for each room. This includes: a detailed day-to-day travel description, the hotel list with addresses and check-in information, maps with further tips for visiting and sightseeing, city and local maps, as well as recommendations for places to stop and an emergency contact list. In the case of short-term bookings and a foreign address, we will store the complete travel documents in your first hotel. You will receive the exact travel description including the hotel list in advance by email.
We recommend that you take out travel insurance including travel cancellation, interruption, rebooking fees and luggage insurance. You can find further information on this under the item "Services" "Travel Insurance" on our homepage.

Our overnight partners on the Moselle are selected middle and superior class hotels, guest houses and inns. All rooms have a bath / toilet or shower / toilet.
Overnight stay in the standard category
In the standard category there are rooms in pensions and guest houses with simple furnishings. In Trier and Koblenz there are typical city hotels.
Overnight stay in the comfort category
In the comfort category, we reserve 3-star accommodations for you. At the same time, the rooms are somewhat larger than in the standard category and have "extra" features. If necessary in a quieter location, with new equipment or with a balcony / terrace.
Single room bookings
In many cases, the single rooms booked in your accommodation are double rooms for single use.
The exact hotel list with hotel addresses and directions is included with your travel documents, which you will receive approx. 14 days before arrival. Please understand that we only give out accommodation names on the basis of a firm booking or after a deposit has been received. We are also happy to pass on "customer requests" for catering or equipment to our service partners with your reservation.
