DAY 1: ARRIVAL TO TRIER
Trier winemakers welcome you to the historic market square with a glass of Moselle sparkling wine. They can certainly tell you one story or another. Stroll through the Moselle metropolis and discover the cultural diversity of the city.
DAY 2: CYCLING TOUR TRIER TO TRITTENHEIM | 42 KM
Your tour begins today: On the »Historic Cycle Path« you ride along the Moselle on the »Roman Wine Route«, which was used to transport wine in ancient times. In Mehring you visit the Villa Rustica and get an impression of rural life in Roman times. In the evening you can taste the Moselle wine at the winemaker and learn a lot about the work in the vineyard.
DAY 3: CYCLING TOUR TRITTENHEIM TO KRÖV | 44 KM
Along the Middle Moselle you come to the oldest wine village in Germany - Neumagen-Dhron. In which the replica of a Roman wine ship is at anchor. Interrupt your tour in the medieval town of Bernkastel-Kues, the birthplace of Nikolaus Cusanus. His writings and astrological devices can be viewed in the Cusanus pen. We continue to Kröv, the hometown of the »Kröver Nacktarsch«.
DAY 4: CYCLING TOUR KRÖV TO EDIGER-ELLER | 42 KM
Cycle to the Art Nouveau town of Traben-Trarbach, which has some architectural features. You drive through the realm of the "Zeller Schwarze Katz", a famous wine location, and you will soon see your destination for the day Ediger-Eller am Calmont. Your accommodation for the next two nights is located on the steepest vineyard in Europe. Enjoy a Moselle menu in the evening.
DAY 5: LUST & MOOD DAY IN EDIGER-ELLER
Today you decide according to your mood. An additional bike tour along the Moselle, a comfortable Moselle boat trip or would you prefer a hike on the Moselsteig Trail? Enjoy your day off the way you want. We are happy to give you our leisure tips at hand.
DAY 6: DEPARTURE FROM EDIGER-ELLER
During your pleasure and wine stage bike tour, you were allowed to look over the shoulders of the winemaker and taste the Moselle Riesling. If you would like to learn more about the Moselle and see it, we recommend additional enjoyment days after the tour.
OUR TIP: Hike / Moselle boat trip on the mood day or additional day
Your accommodation is located directly on the Calmont. Hike the Höhenweg or experience the thrill of the via ferrata. Alternatively, you can enjoy the Moselle on a boat trip to the medieval city of Cochem. Here a tour with a visit to the well-preserved Reichsburg is worthwhile.
