DAY 1: ARRIVAL TO SCHWEICH
Your hiking holiday begins on the Roman Wine Route. Take a short walk to the city's landmark - the ferry tower - and enjoy the first evening of your holiday in the beer garden on the Moselle.
DAY 2: MOSELSTEIG STAGE 06 | SWEEP TO MEHRING | 12 KM | Ø 4 HOURS
The first hiking stage begins after breakfast. Mountainous up and down, rewarded with fantastic views. When you arrive at your overnight stay in Mehring, you can enjoy a glass of wine at the winemaker's with a view of the Moselle.
DAY 3: MOSELSTEIG STAGE 07 | MEHRING TO LEIWEN | 15 KM | Ø 4.5 HOURS
The Moselsteig leads through Mehringer Schweiz, with wooded steep slopes and breathtaking views of the famous five lakes view. A combination of forest, water and vineyards takes you to Leiwen.
DAY 4: MOSELSTEIG STAGE 08 | LEIWEN TO NEUMAGEN-DHRON | 14 KM | Ø 4 HOURS
The hiking trail takes you over the panorama height, from where there is a fantastic view of the Moselle loop near Trittenheim. In Neumagen-Dhron you can watch a replica of a Roman wine ship on its journey across the Moselle.
DAY 5: MOSELSTEIG STAGE 09 | NEUMAGEN-DHRON TO OSANN-MONZEL | 19 KM | Ø 5.5 HOURS
You continue to walk to Piesport and to a former Roman Sauerbrunnen. Refresh your tired hiking feet in the treading pool. The stage destination is in Kesten or Osann-Monzel.
DAY 6: MOSELSTEIG STAGE 10 | OSANN-MONZEL TO BERNKASTEL-KUES | 16 KM | Ø 4.5 HOURS
After steadily climbing you will reach the elaborately restored Landshut Castle in Bernkastel-Kues. The new restaurant offers a unique view of the old city with its narrow, winding streets and medieval half-timbered houses from the roof terrace and through large panorama windows.
DAY 7: DEPARTURE FROM BERNKASTEL-KUES
You start your journey home with many new memories of a Moselsteig & Co. tour. We are happy to offer you a day of relaxation or an additional hiking stage afterwards.
