DAY 1: ARRIVAL TO EDIGER-ELLER
Travel comfortably to Ediger-Eller in the wonderful river landscape with lush vineyards. After the Celts and the Merovingians, the place experienced a heyday under the rule of the Trier electors. The place worth seeing with its well-preserved half-timbered houses and a medieval city wall is also known as "Rothenburg" on the Moselle.
DAY 2: CYCLING TOUR EDIGER-ELLER TO COCHEM AND BACK | 42 KM
After a hearty breakfast you cycle off. On the other side of the Moselle you reach Beilstein, also known as the "Sleeping Beauty" of the Moselle. Romantic half-timbered houses are lined up one after the other and have already formed a film set several times. We continue down the Moselle towards Cochem. Explore the historic old town of the lively Moselle city and hike up to the Reichsburg. A visit to the former underground secret bunker of the Deutsche Bundesbank is also worth seeing. 15 billion DM were once stored here. You can return to Ediger-Eller by boat or bike along the river. In the evening you will learn something about the work in steep vineyards at the winemaker's during a wine tasting. Afterwards, a meal from the manufactory of tarte flambée awaits you to strengthen yourself.
DAY 3: CYCLING TOUR EDIGER ELLER TO ZELL AND BACK | 34 KM
Cycle up the Moselle into the realm of the "Zeller Schwarze Katz". You should dare to go up to the Marienburg and the Prinzenkopf observation tower, the view from there is spectacular. If you prefer it more relaxed, you should enjoy a stroll through the old streets or a glass of wine on the promenade. On your way back you will stop at Sankt Aldegund, where a historic wine museum with a gourmet factory awaits you. As a memento of your stay on the Moselle, you can take a small treat home with you. It's not far from here to Ediger-Eller. On your last holiday evening, we invite you to enjoy fresh delicacies from the winegrower's kitchen in a wild, romantic atmosphere.
DAY 4: DEPARTURE FROM EDIGER-ELLER
Today you will start your journey home from your star tour from Ediger-Eller. You have taken leisurely bike tours, experienced romantic moments and a happy break from everyday life. If you would like to experience more of the pleasure & wine region, then extend your vacation with us.
OUR TIP: rent a canoe or stand-up paddle or experience the thrill of the Calmont via ferrata.
