Own managed arrival to Mülheim(Moselle)
Note: Arrival by car necessary
Upon arrival at the hotel you will be welcomed with a fizzy drink. So your hiking holiday starts well! We recommend a trip to Bernkastel-Kues with its winding streets and half-timbered buildings. Take a boat trip on the Moselle, stroll through the city and hike up to Landshut Castle. At the end of the day, enjoy a delicious dinner with a panoramic view at the castle.
Circular route Sonneninsel Minheim
You walk leisurely on vineyard paths across the sun-drenched peninsula on the Moselle near Minheim. You will learn about viticulture, geology and history along the way. You can experience a panoramic view from the Burglayfelsen. If you are lucky, you can see a ship passing through the locks. After the hike you drive to Neumagen-Dhron and marvel at the replica of a Roman wine ship, the “Stella Noviomagi”. Relax with a cup of coffee and a piece of cake before you return to Mülheim.
Hüttenkopfweg Maring-Noviand
Today you explore the area around Maring-Noviand. The Hüttenkopfweg starts at the Klostermühle Siebenborn and runs over small inclines and through wooded sections and is rewarded with views of the Liesertal and the Moselle and Hunsrück heights. The Hüttenkopf is a wooded little mountain on the Lieser, a tributary of the Moselle. The fruity Moselle wine has been grown here since Roman times.
